Thank You for a Successful 2025 Kentucky Aviation Conference!

The Kentucky Aviation Association extends a heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended and participated in the 2025 Kentucky Aviation Conference in Owensboro! Your engagement made this year’s event one of our most successful yet — bringing together airport managers, aviation professionals, legislators, students, and industry partners from across the Commonwealth.

From insightful sessions on the vision of KAA in the future, KDA Report, airport funding and workforce development to the engaging legislative and safety panels, the discussions reflected the strength and collaboration of Kentucky’s aviation community.

Recognizing Excellence

Congratulations to all of our award recipients this year, Mark Steedly awarded ACE award and  especially Mark Carter, honored with the KAA Legacy Award, and ACE Award for his outstanding leadership and long-term commitment to advancing aviation across Kentucky. Your contributions continue to inspire those who follow in your flight path.

Looking Ahead: KAA Day at the Capitol

Mark your calendars! KAA Day at the Capitol will take place, Wednesday, February 25, 2026, from 5:00–8:00 PM at The Foundry in Frankfort. This is our opportunity to showcase the importance of aviation to Kentucky’s economy and communities while engaging directly with state leaders. We recommend reaching out to your Legislators well before this event and encourage them to meet you there if you plan to attend.
